Ormiston Horizon Academy (Evening & Weekend Classes)
Encompass Dance Academy is based in the dance studio at Ormiston Horizon Academy. It is a well-equipped space designed to inspire creativity, learning, and growth for all our students. The studio is located on the ground floor with easy access for all, and there is free parking available on-site for your convenience.
Spacious Studios The dance studio is spacious and provides ample room for movement, ensuring students can dance freely and confidently. With high ceilings and an open layout, the studio creates a comfortable and airy environment that encourages creativity.
Mirrors for Technique Refinement The dance studio features full-length mirrors, allowing students to observe their posture, positioning, and technique closely. This visual feedback is invaluable for improving performance and achieving precision in every step.
Ballet Barres for Strength and Control Our ballet barres are ideal for students perfecting their technique, improving balance, and building strength. Whether you're taking a ballet class or using the barres for warm-ups and conditioning, they are an essential part of our dance space.

Newchapel Scout Hut (Day Time Classes)
Encompass Dance Academy also runs classes at The Scout Hut, a bright and versatile venue perfect for our daytime and community sessions. It’s a welcoming space designed to support creativity, learning, and connection for all ages and abilities.
Spacious and Flexible Studio The hall offers a large open space ideal for dance, movement, and creative activities. With plenty of room to move freely, students can explore choreography and take part in group work comfortably. The layout also allows for a variety of class setups, from energetic dance sessions to seated or floor-based activities.
Bright, Well-Ventilated Environment Excellent natural light and good ventilation create a fresh and uplifting atmosphere. Whether for a lively dance class or a calm movement session, the space feels inviting and comfortable all year round.
Facilities for Learning and Accessibility The Scout Hut is equipped with tables, chairs, and a projector screen, making it ideal for our Home Ed sessions and other creative workshops. The availability of chairs also supports our Step by Step and other inclusive classes for those with reduced mobility, ensuring everyone can take part comfortably. The venue features a flat entrance, providing easy access for wheelchair users and anyone who may find steps difficult.
Convenient Amenities There is some parking available directly outside for ease of access. The venue also includes a kitchen area where drinks can be made during our social sessions, and changing rooms for getting ready before or after class.
